The Princeton University Chinese Music Ensemble (ChiME) is a student organization founded by undergraduate and graduate students at Princeton University.  Our goal is to foster an appreciation of China’s rich musical heritage by offering instruction and performance opportunities grounded in traditional Chinese music. We perform both traditional and modern Chinese pieces, combine traditional Chinese instruments with Western instruments, and have performed at various events on the Princeton University campus, as well as in Carnegie Hall.

Through a partnership with world renowned guzheng virtuoso Yang Yi (杨艺), we offer weekly rehearsals as well as several concerts and outreach events each semester.
